I just get kind of goose-pimply with the combination of rough, rough gemstones, and old, dark metal. This is an amazing chunk of druzy amethyst quartz.
Hanging from it is an old (1897) Royal Jubilee Medal celebrating Queen Victoria's 60 years on the throne.
The once shiny medal has darkened to an amazing black patina.
