Once upon a time there was a brilliant advertising scheme... Beautiful coin purses would be given away when a new bank account was opened. The lucky young lady would always carry her small, leather purse with her and every time she opened it, she would be reminded of the generous institution from whence it came.
Twice upon a time a long forgotten coin purse was rescued from its curse of neglect and a magic spell of beauty and significance was placed upon it. Its crunchy leather was overlooked, its elaborate silver top was admired, and its advertising for a bank in Carnegie PA inspired curiosity. It was transformed into a beloved work of art to adorn one's neck. An heirloom piece of jewelry made up of re-loved pieces of the past, antique buttons, an old mourning photo, bone carved birds and an industrial watch chain--- complete with the original skeleton key.
